Today was a turning point for my little cousin Isabel. She's 17 and has taken her first step to independence. We helped her move into her dorm at Cal Poly Pomona and met her two other room mates. Observing the social graces of all the freshman scrubs gave me the chuckles...
It's amazing that I moved into my dorm at USC (Birnkrant) back in the fall of 1992.
